£21,000 - £24,000 Per Annum + Uncapped Commission Scheme OTE £35K

Monday - Friday 9am – 5pm / 10am - 6pm Shifts (Saturday shifts may be required)

To support the achievement of our international ambitions, we require Sales Estimators, through our marketing efforts we can take full advantage of the global market and to make us the dominant force in our field.

Job Summary

  • Active responsibility for and timely follow up of leads to maximise opportunities for conversion, depending on client location. 
  • Using CRM to record and report on all types of Sales activity, - statistics, trends, figures etc. 
  • Provide vital technical and specification support to clients as part of the estimation/quoting process. 
  • Professional review of technical drawings and advising clients on any issues/ solutions. 
  • Produce and submit accurate and detailed quotations to clients, using the prescribed pricing systems.
  • Liaise with clients/contractors and Manufacturing colleagues on all technical queries relating to the project. 
  • Active negotiation with clients with a view to conversion to Sales Order.
  • Management of contractual Sales Order processes, according to the established processes and procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate Profile will have a ‘can do attitude’ be a problem solver, with a good attention to detail:- 

  • Strong Sales background, ability to sell anything to anyone.
  • Positive, ambitious, goal-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able and willing to work flexibly to ensure maximum access to international Sales opportunities.
  • Practical experience of CAD or the ability to read technical drawings – major advantage.
  • Strong Sales background - preferably technical or international sales.
  • Ability to understand and process technical product data.
  • Experience of using a CRM system would be an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure without loss of quality.
  • Confident, tenacious, and persuasive - likes a challenge.
  • High level of communication skills – written, verbal and mathematical.
  • Excellent telephone manner, Ability to communicate in languages other than English – (advantage).
  • Strong ICT and Social Media skills.
