We are the largest specialist designer and manufacturer of premium folding sliding/bifold doors in the UK.

We are looking for someone with a proven three years experience as a Sales Manager (preferred).

Responsibilities of the post

Sales Team

  • Be the first point of contact on all matters relating to the Sales process
  • To keep in touch with practical Sales by maintaining your own small, client base.
  • Be responsible for your own area of Key Accounts
  • Agree the objectives and financial targets to reach, within the specified periods
  • Professional day to day management of the Sales Team activities
  • Create and publish clear, prescribe and harmonised procedures, to ensure consistency of Sales practice and administration.
  • Ensure that staff have full technical and practical knowledge of the Company’s current products and services.
  • Adopt proven sales strategies that focus on the closing of the sale.
  • Personal observation and monitoring of staff, as they work with clients
  • Offer support and advice on more complex sales
  • Assist Sales Consultants in the presentation of proposals and quotes to prospective clients as required.
  • Conduct regular, 1 to 1 supervisory interview with Team members as part of the performance management procedures.
  • Setting individual Sales targets to be achieved
  • Provide formal support for improvement if required
  • Responsible for developing and delivering Sales Team Induction for new recruits. -HR support as required
  • Lead on the Continuing Professional Development of the Department
  • Facilitate strong team bonds and encourage healthy competition, within the Team

After Sales (Customer Service)

  • Professional day to day management of the After Sales Team
  • Personal observation and monitoring of staff, as they work with clients
  • Extension of the income generation element of After Sales- setting targets for achievement
  • Share sales practice and knowledge to help support the above
  • Review current procedures- develop practices which work seamlessly with Sales and create improved consistency of case management
  • Close liaison with Senior After Sales Administrator and Operations and to keep up to date with the pressing issues in the department
  • Extend CPD to take account of the specific needs of After Sales practitioners, within the core Sales Department, to create greater harmonisation of the functions.

After Sales (Customer Service)

Reporting - Sales Data and Trend Analysis

  • Review and analysis of the generated sales data, to inform the decision-making process on sales activity, and pricing and discount-. In consultation with the International Sales Director.
  • Monitor the activities of our direct/ indirect competitors and adapt the Sales strategy accordingly in consultation with the International Sales Director.
  • To report back to Senior Managers, through the Sales Director, on the progress of sales and new market development.
  • To encourage and use customer feedback, as a training tool for the analysis of what makes the perfect sale.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends in Sales, adopting new practices according to the needs of the business.
