Bi fold or Folding Sliding Door?

What's the difference? As the years have gone by the word 'Folding Sliding Door' as almost taken a back seat with many new pretenders to the market advertising timber bi fold doors, bifold interior doors, glass bi doors, bi folding, bi fold folding doors.
However although the common word seems to be 'Bi-Fold' everybody appears to have their own interpretation of the common word by prefixing bifold with words such as interior, exterior, glass, and the like thus: timber bifolding door, aluminium bifold, aluminium folding door, aluminium bifold doors, aluminium bi fold, aluminium bifold door, aluminium bi-fold door.
