Overview
The AA65 bi-fold door is part of the very latest development from FSDC Global. Designed from the inside out - the AA65 utilizes the new ‘internally reinforced 65 aluminum core system’.
The AA65 offers a modern styled frame, moulded around the insulated glass units and symmetrical in design - with matching internal and external profiles. Exceptionally durable and versatile, the AA65 can work within any living arrangement or commercial situation, providing the ultimate WOW factor, in terms of aesthetics, functionality and adaptability.
Again as it’s aluminum it is extremely strong, durable and is low maintenance. Being thermally insulated it is also extremely energy efficient - retaining heat in colder climates and heat out in warmer climates, which all adds up to lower bills.
This revolutionary new ’65 core’ system allows for a truly customized finish - allowing you the option to choose which material goes on each side - so you can keep the same look throughout but with a mix of materials on different products.
In the case of the AA65 - it’s aluminum/aluminum to both sides - but if you wanted to have aluminum/timber (AW65) - with timber to the inside of the lounge to match existing oak architecture then you can and it will all match, get it?
This aluminum bi-fold door is custom made to your exacting requirements - meaning as a customer you get to specify; dimensions, product style, material, opening style, configuration, color, finish, hardware, thresholds, glass specification, glazing options, magnetic stops, ventilation and internal blinds, and don’t forget we offer matching products too.
A matching range of windows and doors are available to complement the AA65 bi-fold door.

Security
- Five point multi-locking to access door with ‘Secured by Design’ (SBD) security cylinders
- Three star diamond ABS TS007 euro cylinders (anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-bump, anti-drill)
- Encapsulated rollers/running gear within the track, preventing it from being attacked
- End panels and access doors are fitted with high security locking mechanisms
- Hardened steel hook locks and dead bolts
- No bead system
- Option of key locking shoot-bolts are available for added security and external access
- Passed tests equivalent to a 300lb man trying to force entry
- Tongue and groove (interlocking) door panels to prevent lever opening

Threshold Options
We currently offer nine threshold options to satisfy all applications and current building regulations, with all options available as either inward or outward opening. But for the many, the most popular option is our flush threshold that blends the inside floor with the outside floor, especially those with children, elderly or wheel chair users.
Our flush track is ADA compliant, fully weather-rated and the profile itself is available in a choice of 2 colors / finishes; anodized silver (standard) and bronze.

Performance
Weatherproof
- High performance seals / gaskets
- PVC Nitrile (synthetic rubber) gaskets, fitted as standard and used to seal the double glazed units into the panels and protect the door from water ingress
- PVC Nitrile seals between each panel (including top and bottom of the panel) to prevent water, wind and noise from entering the property
- Tested for water ingress, wind resistance and air permeability
- Weather head drip bar - moulded top profile
The main properties of PVC Nitrile is its outstanding heat, acoustic and thermal resistances.
