Stacking Options

How will your doors stack when in use? Where will you have most room? Panels can stack inside or outside (or both) and locate left or right or both. These are things to consider when designing your bi-fold doors around your home.

Traffic Door/Access Door

A traffic door is an every day access door, that can be used independently without having to open all of the door set and behaves like a traditional door.

Bi-fold doors fold in pairs. In general an uneven number of panels will result in an extra panel that can be used as a traffic door. A three panel configuration access door for example naturally falls to the left or right.

Open In/Open Out

The beauty about bi-fold doors is you can choose whether to open your doors either inwards or outwards or even both!

You may have more room outside or an unused corner that will comfortable accommodate an open in option.

Inline or Corner Doors

You can choose a regular (inline) configuration, or choose a corner configuration.

With both options you still get to choose the number of panels (subject to minimum/maximum size constraints of course) and the panel configuration.
